Edinburgh
The first time I went to Edinburgh, it was part of a vacation in the UK. I spent four days there, and liked it so much it even made the very short list of cities in which I would consider living.
The second time I was in Edinburgh, I went to visit someone I knew who lived there. I stayed four weeks.
The third time I went to Edinburgh, I stayed four months, going to graduate school at Napier University.
